A PRODUCT OF COLLABORATION

The Bondi to Manly Walk is the product of an unprecedented collaboration between Bondi to Manly Walk Supporters and the La Perouse and Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Councils; all six Councils along the Walk (City of Sydney, Mosman Council, North Sydney Council, Northern Beaches Council, Waverley Council and Woollahra Council); eight state agencies (Place Management New South Wales, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services, Transport for NSW, Port Authority of NSW, The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Living Museums and Taronga Zoo) and at the federal level, the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust.

The partnership to create the Bondi to Manly Walk was officially announced in Sydney on the 25 November 2018.

We were officially opened on 8 December 2019.

We’re grateful to have the support of our Founding Sponsors; Harris Farm Markets and Employsure.

We also have many community organisations supporting the establishment of the Walk including Destination NSW, the Greater Sydney Commission, The Walking Volunteers, Principals Branding Agency, the Committee for Sydney, and the Business Council of Australia.

BONDI TO MANLY WALK SUPPORTERS

The Bondi to Manly Walk Supporters are a not-for-profit incorporated association and a registered Australian Charity.

We’re a small team of volunteers, with only one full time staff member, passionate about protecting, promoting and improving the public land and natural environment on Sydney Harbour foreshore .

Our goal via this website and the Bondi to Manly Walk App is to share relevant, useful information to encourage and enable everyone to use and enjoy the Walk.

We love this Walk and want to share it with as many people as possible so everyone can discover the beauty of Sydney.

Our mission is to improve community awareness of the environmental, cultural, indigenous, heritage and health attributes of the Walk.

Our Constitution is available here.

We’re always interested in hearing about projects and events that align to our mission.
